We are currently looking for per diem Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to work in a Primary Care Clinic located in the Hatfield area.
Required Qualifications / Skills
A candidate will be expected to hold a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania, have good primary care skills, preferably at least two years’ experience, excellent and dynamic people skills, compassion for people, high motivation level, good communication skills, professional confidence, and an independent thinker.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Primary Care Services:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical exams for patients across all age groups.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease.
- Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, health risk assessments, and lifestyle counseling.
- Perform routine women’s health care (e.g., Pap smears, breast exams) and men’s health care (e.g., prostate screening).
- Manage mental health issues in a primary care setting, including depression, anxiety, and insomnia, with appropriate medication management or referral to behavioral health providers when needed.
- Address minor injuries and dermatological issues such as cuts, sprains, rashes, and infections.
- Respond to same-day patient concerns, including minor injuries, upper respiratory infections, flu-like symptoms, and urinary tract infections.
- Provide efficient, thorough, and empathetic care for patients presenting with urgent medical needs.
- Triage cases and make referrals to emergency care when necessary.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative strategies.
- Engage patients in managing their own health, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and adherence to treatment plans.
