Required Qualifications / Skills
A candidate will be expected to hold a physical therapy license in good standing in the state of Michigan, good orthopedic skills, preferably at least two years experience, excellent and dynamic people skills, compassion for people, high motivation level, good communication skills, professional confidence, independent thinker, and a life-long learner.

Responsibilities
You will be providing physical therapy services and pre-employment examinations to team members of a meat processing plant in Coldwater, Michigan. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Evaluate the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity.
- Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home when necessary.
- Confer with the patient, medical practitioners, and appropriate others to plan, implement and assess the intervention program.
- Provide timely documentation
- Assist with case management
- Assist with pre-employment examinations to include drug screens.
