Ergonomics Assessments

Ergonomic evaluations are a means to limit the risk of injuries or illnesses to workers. Our clinicians are all certified ergonomic evaluators, who can help your ergonomics team identify and correct ergonomic risks. Industry Health Solutions focuses on making the environment fit the body…but we know this isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s more difficult than moving a stand or lowering a shelf.  That’s why our subject matter experts get creative with problem-solving by using an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body along with concepts related to physics.  But first, we look at historical performance data per department or job that reveals injury rates and types. Assessments are conducted to measure risk levels based on the presence of force, repetition, vibration, loads, strain, duration, or awkward postures.  Our evaluators then make recommendations to your team based on your company’s plan and needs which could include job modifications, work station redesign, education on safe work practices, development or enforcement of administrative controls, or implementing a job rotation plan.
